MicrOpay Migration & Support Services

MicrOpay ESP support ended in March 2025. If you are still on it, or planning your migration, we help large Australian enterprises choose the right replacement system and manage the transition from end to end.

Here Is How We Help

We cover every stage of the payroll migration, from working out what you need through to going live on the right system.

Requirements Definition

Before you look at a single platform, we document what your organisation actually needs. Award complexity, multi-entity structure, integration dependencies, Payday Super readiness and workforce composition. The things that determine whether a new system works for your business or just replaces one problem with another.

Market Scan and Vendor Evaluation

We assess the full Australian market against your requirements. Dayforce, Workday, Humanforce, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG and others, evaluated consistently. You receive a vendor shortlist, a relevant RFP, a procurement plan and a comprehensive evaluation report, so the decision is based on fit rather than on who presented best.

Enterprise Agreement and Award Interpretation

MicrOpay has handled your pay rules for years. Moving platforms means rebuilding that logic from scratch in a new system. We map your current pay conditions against your awards and agreements before a single rule is configured, so what gets built is right the first time.

Data Migration

Employee records, leave balances, payroll history, cost centre structures. Getting clean data out of MicrOpay and into a new system without gaps or errors is one of the most underestimated parts of any migration. We manage it properly.

Testing and Validation

Parallel pay runs against your existing MicrOpay output. Regression testing. UAT support. We validate that the new system calculates correctly before you cut over, so the first pay run on the new platform is not an experiment.

Project Recovery

Already mid-migration and things are not going to plan? We are regularly brought in to reset off-track projects. We identify what is blocking delivery, remove the barriers and get you to go-live.

How We Engage

Go-To-Market Advisory

A structured end-to-end process from requirements definition through to vendor selection and contract negotiation. The right starting point if you have not yet committed to a replacement platform.

Migration Support

Client-side oversight during your platform migration. We work alongside your vendor’s project team to protect your compliance requirements, manage data migration and validate configuration before go-live.

Project Recovery

Brought in mid-project when things are off track. We assess what has gone wrong, stabilise the project and get delivery back on course.

Why Trust Payroll Experts?

  1. We know MicrOpay

We have worked with MicrOpay across a wide range of Australian organisations and industries. We know how it stores data, how it handles awards and where the migration risks tend to hide.

  2. Australian compliance expertise

A platform migration is not just an IT project. It requires deep knowledge of Australian awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and Payday Super obligations. That is what we bring.

  3. Senior people do the work

We are not a large consulting firm where a partner wins the work and a graduate delivers it. When you engage us, experienced payroll practitioners run your engagement.

  4. We know where these projects fail

We have worked on remediations for some of Australia’s largest employers. We know the configuration errors, the data gaps and the go-live risks before they materialise.
